강좌 소개

This prerequisite course is exclusively for applicants of the 10th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED. It provides foundational knowledge of Global Citizenship Education (GCED), within the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It introduces GCED’s core principles, pedagogical approaches and its role in fostering sustainable and peaceful futures.

 

Application Deadline: JUNE 27 2025, 11:59PM (KST)

 

Eligibility: Global Educators from the 2025 ODA recipient countries, with a minimum of three years(at least five years remaining until retirement) of professional experience who have successfully completed this prerequisite course.

 

Estimated Course Duration: 80 minutes (Includes 7 lecture videos + 1 discussion task, where participants post their reflections and opinions)

    I loved all the course content and its theme. All the videos were very fruitful for prior knowledge of GCED their chronological order was also linked one after another. I am extremely inspired by UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon's speech which he quoted that no matter what your background is but always try to do something more for the people around the world. The correlation of GCED with SDG, definition of GCED, thematic area, etc, all are very useful for us. What I realised is that being a part of the world now, it is my responsibility to share with my students and all my colleagues about this and try to transform the world from my side through GCED. Thank you.
