After watching the first video, I understood why the concept of global citizenship is important to meet the need of Sustainable Development Goals, which is based on the five Ps viz. people. planet, prosperity, peace and partnership. As the goal of reducing poverty to half was achieved by Millennium Development Goals, achieving SDGs is also not ideal. Like meeting J.F. Kennedy inspired Mr Moon to work for the shared humanity, watching Mr. Moon's contribution as a UN General Secretary, rising from the boy of war torn Korea inspired me much to work for these global goals. The videos are well designed to give a brief overview of a short introduction to GCED, especially as a tool to achieve partnership goal of Sustainable development Goals, the three domains of GCED, three learner attributes and nine topics, arranged as per learner's age. It helps corrects various reductionist understandings related to GCED, democracy, human rights, charity, etc. It furthers how GCED can play role in the context of backsliding of democracy.

As part of my ongoing professional development, I successfully completed the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) course provided by APCEIU in collaboration with UNESCO. The course offered deep insights into key global challenges—such as peacebuilding, human rights, sustainability, and cultural diversity—and emphasized the crucial role teachers play in nurturing empathetic, responsible, and engaged global citizens.

The training introduced a range of effective classroom practices, including participatory learning techniques, project-based approaches, and strategies to enhance students' critical thinking skills. It also prompted me to critically examine my own teaching and consider how GCED principles can be meaningfully woven into the local curriculum.

This learning experience has greatly improved my capacity to foster inclusive, globally aware classroom environments and reaffirmed my dedication to using education as a tool for building a more peaceful, equitable, and sustainable future.

I loved all the course content and its theme. All the videos were very fruitful for prior knowledge of GCED their chronological order was also linked one after another. I am extremely inspired by UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon's speech which he quoted that no matter what your background is but always try to do something more for the people around the world. The correlation of GCED with SDG, definition of GCED, thematic area, etc, all are very useful for us. What I realised is that being a part of the world now, it is my responsibility to share with my students and all my colleagues about this and try to transform the world from my side through GCED. Thank you.
