GCED highlights that teacher are irreplaceable and the use of AI should serve to find solutions to global issues. As an English teacher, I must raise my learners' awareness towards the use of AI as a tool to solve problems, but not a reliable source of information.

  This course was an incredibly timely and eye-opening experience.   If you’re looking for a professional development experience that actually translates into immediate, real-world practice, this prerequisite course is phenomenal. Going into it, I wondered if the content would feel a bit too detached from day-to-day classroom management, but the structure proved to be incredibly practical. The curated readings—particularly the pieces from UNESCO on digital ethics and localized citizenship—felt tailored to the immediate hurdles we face as teachers trying to keep learning human-centered.
  The biggest win for me was how the modules structurally guided us from absorbing information to actively building an implementation strategy. It gave me the clarity I needed to design an actionable plan to bring these global frameworks directly to my local teaching community and students. It’s rare to find an online course that balances heavy themes like the SDGs and generative AI with actual, doable classroom frameworks. I highly recommend it to any educator who wants their teaching to have a lasting impact beyond examination results.
