  The course provided a very valuable introduction to global citizenship and the role of media in shaping our understanding of global issues. One of the most important aspects was how it encouraged critical thinking, especially regarding the way information is presented and consumed in today’s digital world.
  
  I particularly appreciated the discussions and videos, as they helped connect theoretical concepts with real-life examples. They made it clear that media is not neutral, and that it has the power to influence perceptions, amplify certain voices, and sometimes reinforce inequalities. This insight was especially relevant when thinking about global challenges such as access to education, inequality, and climate change.
  
  Another strength of the course was its interactive nature. Engaging with others’ perspectives allowed me to better understand different contexts and experiences, which is essential when talking about global citizenship.
  
  Overall, the course helped me become more aware of my role not only as a consumer of media, but also as an active participant who can contribute to more informed and responsible discussions. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in global issues and social impact.

  This was an incredibly engaging and insightful course! It formally introduced me to the exact concepts and community initiatives I have been working on, and seeing UNESCO provide such a massive international platform for these ideas was truly validating. I learned a great deal and now view global citizenship and advocacy from a completely different, much broader perspective. I particularly enjoyed the panel discussion videos; the articulate way the panelists presented their thoughts and navigated complex global issues was a masterclass in communication and something I will definitely learn from.   This course was extremely beneficial to me as it broadened my perspective on what GCED connotes, as well as how it interacts with other fields like Human Rights, Diversity, Social Justice, Sustainability, etc. I am now more confident in my identity as a global citizen and motivated to build myself even more in pursuit of this goal!
