Devica Afsari PutriWhat I love the most about the course is the panel discussion. Watching the panel discussion after the lectures can provide us with the real discussion of the young leader, we can see how passionate they are, the challenges they face, all of this examples make the course even more feel wonderful and just right. As a young leader that still figuring out how can we help the world into a better place, seeing a fellow young leaders who also feeling the same way inspire me to take action on the topic I passionate about. Thank you for the opportunity on joining this course!

RVJ GatchalianThis course offered a valuable and well-integrated perspective on Global Citizenship Education (GCED), Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and Media and Information Literacy (MIL), grounding these concepts in real-world application. It deepened my understanding of how media shapes perception and action—something I’ve encountered in my own work in disaster response and youth advocacy—and reinforced the importance of ethical, people-centered storytelling. What stood out most was how the course connected critical thinking, empathy, and responsible communication as essential competencies in addressing global challenges, especially in combating misinformation and empowering communities.

Kazi Rezwanur RahmanWhile SDG4 directly targets education for sustainable development, prevention of violent extremisim and the global peacebuilding, I thought this course in particular targetting media literacy, advocacy campaigns and how GCED is impacted and how it can impact Youth around the world really showed me the interconnectivenss of such important topics and further enhanced my crititcal thinking skills. It also inspired me to not only apply to the 12th YLW workshop but also find other opportunities to involved myself. I am extremly satisfied and would recommend this course to others.
