In collaboration with SIMA Studios, APCEIU hosts a Virtual Film Screening Event that uses the power of film to transport us to the various locations on Earth where the global issues are taking place.

Two films that feature the lives of indigenous peoples struggling to preserve their homeland and resources, CHERAN: THE BURNING HOPE and BEYOND THE PIPELINE guide educators and audiences around the world to be acquainted with issues that the indigenous peoples are facing.

A discussion session related to these films was held.
Dr. Swee-Hin Toh, Emeritus Professor of Education at the University of Alberta, moderated the live discussion, and Mr. Paul Redman, Director of BEYOND THE PIPELINE took part to further discuss indigenous peoples' rights and ways to address issues surrounding them.
