This 5-week course covers a basic introduction to human rights principles, standards, and mechanisms, a discussion on specific issues related to GCED from a human rights perspective, and an understanding of the teaching/learning of human rights in the context of GCED. After taking this course, participants will be able to understand and enhance their knowledge of the basic principles of human rights, explain GCED issues apropos of human rights, and employ human rights principles in their teaching/learning system.
