Fashion Revolution, founded by Carry Somers and Orsola de Castro in the wake of the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013, is one of the world's largest fashion activism movements, mobilizing citizens, brands, and policymakers through research, education, and advocacy. They call for actions to make a global fashion industry to become more sustainable and transparent and value people over growth and profit. Among various actions, they try to end human exploitation in the industry, ensure safe working conditions for workers, ask more an equal balance of power across the industry, conserve resources, and regenerate ecosystems.
